Find the right group chat for your interest
We look at group chats, Discord servers, subreddits and forums so you can find where people are already talking about what you care about.
Guides
Best group chat for AI
11 communities across 5 platforms, covering AI in general, open-weights models and robotics.
Best group chat app for online communities
Discord, Slack, Telegram, Tribe and WhatsApp compared on cost, group size and fit.
Discord alternatives for communities
Four other places to run a community, and who each one suits.
More guides are planned, including soccer, foodies and travelers.
How we pick
- We describe what each community is for and how to join.
- We show the platform for every pick.
- We list picks alphabetically within each group, so nobody ranks higher because of who runs it.
- We update pages when things change and show the date.
Best Group Chat is run by the Best Group Chat team. A project of Tribe, the company behind the Tribe group chat app. Some picks are Tribe chats, and the guides show the platform for each one. About
